Julia Fox bigging up her first book unintentionally won the funniest Oscars moment award

It was an Oscars to remember for reasons we don’t need to go into here. But there were other memorable moments which surely deserve their own place in Academy Awards history and this is definitely one of them.

It’s actress Julia Fox – you might have seen her alongside Adam Sandler in the rather fabulous Uncut Gems – asked at the Vanity Fair Oscar party about her dream project. And it’s 24 seconds very well spent.

‘Oh my god my book, of course, yeah. I don’t want to give too much of it away because I’m very superstitious, so I don’t like to speak of things before they are finished.

‘But it’s so far a masterpiece if I do say so myself so I hope that … It was going, it was like a memoir at first but now it’s just like my first book, you know? So yeah, that’ll be coming out soon.’
