Edwina Currie told Rylan Clark to ‘get real’ over Partygate and was owned into next year
The great Rylan Clark has been having a bit of a moment on Twitter after he summed up what so many people are thinking about Boris Johnson (and Rishi Sunak) right now.
He’s officially broke the law . That’s it ain’t it?

The presenter’s tweet went wildly viral but not everyone was happy, as you might expect. There were everyday trolls like this, for instance.
Who Rylan summarily dispatched into the distance.
And then former Tory MP, cabinet minister and much else besides Edwina Currie thought she’d get involved.
And we’re very glad she did. Not because of what she had to say but because it enabled Rylan to reply like this.
Boom!
And here’s just a little bit of the love it generated.

The reason Rylan’s tweet is doing numbers Edwina, is that it’s succinct, true and sums up how so many of us are feeling. The reason yours isn’t doing numbers is that we’ve had enough of being patronised and told to move on by your ilk. The audacity.

To conclude …
Edwina – you don’t understand. We don’t care if it was 10 years ago. They partied whilst people died alone – END OF.
