This man’s fury at a teacher giving out tampons will have you facepalming (and laughing) into next week

Leading contender for facepalm of the week is surely this, a man who was furious – really furious – after reading about a teacher who was doing her bit to help her pupils by giving out tampons in class.

It’s the story of a Texas teacher, reported by CNN, whose pupils are aged between 12 and 14, the time that most girls start their menstruation cycle.

So Kylie DeFrance thought she’d do something to help make it easier for them by handing out free pads and tampons.

And it turns out it’s not only her pupils who should be studying biology.
