Pop duo Sparks gave an impromptu performance and a fan’s joyful reaction was all of us
With a recently released Edgar Wright documentary – The Sparks Brothers – and a current tour, the pop duo Sparks are probably more in the public eye now than they have been since the 1970s.
The brothers who formed and are Sparks, Ron and Russell Mael, have shared a spirit-lifting clip of a fan encounter as they performed one of their hits – This Town Ain’t Big Enough For Both Of Us – at the public piano in Paris’ Gare du Nord.

The reaction of the lucky fan who got to enjoy the free performance was highly relatable.

The clip was so good that it made Edgar Wright want to make a minor edit.
Is it too late to put this in the documentary??? https://t.co/RrcyqBtXX5
