Something very similar happened to a an old mate of mine from herefordshire. He was an absolute fucking wreck head. Got stabbed in a club one night, got home, fell down the stairs into his basement and thought he'd landed on the knife there…

Walked to a+e with a knife in his back, and he got it looked at they told him from the coagulation around the wound it had to be 6 or 7 hours earlier than he thought. So he'd basically got stabbed, not noticed, and just carried on partying.
