Michael Gove used comedy voices for his BBC Breakfast interview – 14 favourite reactions
The Queen’s speech during Tuesday’s State Opening of Parliament has been a talking point for a number of reasons. Prince Charles stood in for the Queen, who has been having mobility problems, the speech was heavy on the removal of rights and did nothing to help people struggling with the cost of living.
So very proud to announce our bold new plans to ban peaceful protests, tear up legislation to protect workers rights, privatise Channel 4 and do fuck all to address the cost of living crisis. You’re welcome.#QueensSpeech

Additionally, people were left scratching their heads after Boris Johnson suggested that he and Rishi Sunak would address the cost-of-living omission within days – leading the Treasury Department to deny any knowledge of such a thing.
Dan Walker broached the subject during an interview with Michael Gove, and his answer was like something from the Britain’s Got Talent blooper real.
Watch for yourself.
Dan Walker: The PM said there would be more help in the coming days… the Treasury said no… Ed Davey said that shows the govt is chaotic & don't have a plan.. what's the truth
Michael Gove: The truth is Ed Davey is chaotic & he doesn't have a scooby..#BBCBreakfas pic.twitter.com/6PjYpcuLTq

Embarrassing. There’s a cost of living crisis and a Government Minister is doing silly voices during an interview. 👇 pic.twitter.com/cWrgyirUYa

An insight into how Cabinet meetings are conducted? Or just one minister at the end of his tether? pic.twitter.com/FacEmI0bor

Gove in a truly unhinged performance here that appears to veer between a dodgy American accent and Harry Enfield’s Scouser
