While his government works on pushing through a bill described as illegal and dangerous, Boris Johnson has been hiding in Germany attending the G7 summit, where he granted an interview to CNN’s Jake Tapper.
One question got an answer to rival Johnson’s “I paint wine boxes to look like buses.” moment. Watch what happened.

The UK is measurably poorer than it was before it left the EU, it made no difference to vaccine development or procurement that the UK wasn’t in the European Medicines Agency and everything it did could have been done as part of the EU.
Apart from that, it was completely true – he did quote the Fonz.
