Nick Kyrgios’ Wimbledon rant about the woman who looked like she’d had ‘about 700 drinks’ was a smash hit – 27+ ace tweets
If you recorded the Wimbledon men’s final and haven’t got around to watching it yet – firstly, why? And secondly, that’s a you problem and there are definitely about to be spoilers.
Australia’s badly behaved first-time Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios lost to the now seven-times Wimbledon winner, Serbia’s Novak Djokovic, who caused a global storm when his refusal to be vaccinated led to a ban from the Australian Open in January.
Mr Djokovic’s visa has been cancelled. Rules are rules, especially when it comes to our borders. No one is above these rules. Our strong border policies have been critical to Australia having one of the lowest death rates in the world from COVID, we are continuing to be vigilant.

The match took place on Wimbledon’s prestigious centre court, but the behaviour of rule-breaker Kyrgios took centre stage, with tantrums aimed at his own support team – which included his father and sister.
I’ve still not worked out whether Kyrgios was shouting at his family, his coach, the crowd, himself or just everyone #Wimbledon

But he made it a double fault, with this outburst that led to one unruly spectator becoming the hot trend on Twitter.

This Djokovic/Kyrgios Wimbledon final is a heady mix of world-class tennis and drama-drenched reality television.
Like, Kyrgios just asked for a rowdy spectator to be removed, and when asked to identify the spectator, he said, "The one who looks like she's had 700 drinks, bro."
