Attorney general Suella Braverman is among the 11 (at the time of writing) contenders in the Tory leadership contest.

The Brexit devotee and fervent ‘anti-woke’ campaigner has backers including Steve Baker and Sir Desmond Swayne, which might tell you all you need to know.

But just in case that doesn’t, then this old interview which has just gone viral all over again will surely tip you over the edge.

It’s an encounter with Channel 4 News presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy, in which he asked her about the Conservatives’ European Research Group, or ERG. And it really is quite the watch.

It’s not the first time it’s gone viral, and it’s not even the second (that was when she was made attorney general). No doubt it won’t be the last either (when she becomes PM? Surely not).
