Matt Hancock filled in for James O’Brien on LBC and it went just as well as you hoped it would
James O’Brien has been on a two week break from his morning show on LBC ever since Boris Johnson resigned as the Conservative party leader (the timing was entirely coincidental).
In an unexpected plot twist, the talk station invited former health secretary Matt Hancock to fill in today.
The clues that it probably wouldn’t go entirely well were there even before the programme started.
