Nadine Dorries was furious Labour MPs didn’t clap Boris Johnson – only 9 responses you need
It was Boris Johnson’s final Prime Minister’s Questions today and – just like his entire premiership – it was a massively underwhelming experience with no discernible upside whatsoever.
Indeed, all the ‘great orator’ could come up with his final farewell was this.
Boris Johnson is resigning in disgrace for promoting a known sexual predator, enabling them to grope more victims, signed off with “Hasta La Vista Baby”, and Tory MPs clapped him out!
Speaker Lindsay Hoyle thought this deserved an exception to the no-clapping rule.

And just in case you didn’t notice, not only did not all Tory MPs join in the clapping, neither did any from any of the Opposition benches.
And Johnson’s staunchest ally, culture secretary Nadine Dorries, was angry, really angry.
1/2 At Blair’s last PMQs when he had just been ousted by Labour MPs led by @David_Cameron from the opposition benches, we stood and applauded his achievements.
Today the behaviour of Lab MPs shows how far @UKLabour has fallen. Graceless— Nadine Dorries (@NadineDorries) July 20, 2022
2/2 The doorkeeper had to physically restrain one Labour MP at the back of the speakers chair who was yelling (along with others) profanities as PM left the chamber.
They are truly unfit to ever be let near No10.— Nadine Dorries (@NadineDorries) July 20, 2022
And there were no end of totally on-point responses to whatever the hell that was. Here are our 9 favourites.
1.
Or it just goes to show how little respect they, as well as most of the country have for a man who demonstrated time & again that he was unfit to hold high office.
He’s a fucking liar Nadine & people hate him for it & they hate you for enadbling it & denying it.
Good riddance. https://t.co/FwlNv2MPao— Jonathan Pie (@JonathanPieNews) July 20, 2022

Starmer wished Johnson and his family well.
Johnson responded by calling Starmer a human bollard.
You want to talk about graceless, compare & contrast? Also, your yobbish, drunk performance on Monday was hardly ‘graceful’— Nodge71🌈💛💚 (@nodge71) July 20, 2022
6.
Being lectured on gracelessness by you is like being lectured on patient care by Harold Shipman

No, it represents just how far the Tories have fallen.
There was nothing to applaud. Nothing.— Griffin (@gryffgroff) July 20, 2022

Lower wages?
Partying when people were home?

Can’t afford to fill a tank of fuel?
Housing crisis?
Inability to deal with climate change?
