This person’s fury at an ‘inverted American flag’ will have you facepalming into next week
For hundreds of years an upside down Stars and Stripes has been used as a signal of distress.
And for reasons that are not entirely clear this person was particularly distressed when they saw an ‘inverted American flag’ above this Walmart.
Except it’s not exactly what they thought it was.
And here’s exactly what people on Reddit made of that.
‘You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows’.
Dhorlin‘Apparently some people do.’
GetOffMyGrassBrats‘Dude doesn’t understand the concepts of “wind” and “perspective.”
PierreVonSnooglehoff‘I’ve got five dollars that says there are several more fundamental concepts that this person doesn’t understand.’
KeepTangoAndFoxtrot‘Jesus what an oxygen thief.’
Satansbiscuit666‘Please, PLEASE tell me this is a joke and they aren’t that stupid.’
richincleve‘See that’s the problem with these Christians. It’s impossible to tell the difference between someone making a joke and someone who’s dead ass serious.’
mrGeaRbOx
And we also learned this …
‘Don’t show them the US military uniforms.’
Less_Likely‘Fun fact: the flags face backwards as an homage to the times when soldiers would charge into battle with a flag, so it would wave behind them.’
