Most-swiped man on Tinder is single and this BBC newsreader’s payoff was savage
A leading contender for burn of the week is surely this, BBC newsreader Ben Brown’s payoff to his interview with someone called James Langton, a dating coach who is also one of Tinder’s most swiped men, by all accounts.
The BBC News man was chatting to Langton to mark Tinder’s 10th anniversary, and while we’re sure it was full of interesting chat, it was the payoff that got it noticed.
Specifically, the bit when Brown read out to viewers that dating coach Langton was currently single.

Ooof.
Asked whether he’d met his partner on Tinder, Langton said: ‘I’m actually single at the minute’ and said his ‘problem’ was he’s ‘going for people who are out of my range’.
