If only working life always worked out as well as this all-time classic comeback

Our most memorable exchanges with the various bosses we’ve had over the years have tended, alas, to be the ones where it didn’t quite work out as we’d hoped it would.

Or where they’ve just acted as a complete arse, basically.

We mention this not because we’re about to launch into some group employment therapy, but because we’ve never had an exchange with a boss quite so satisfying as this.

It first went viral last year after it was posted by @BirdRespecter over on Twitter and it’s just gone into orbit again after it was shared by Stidda over on Reddit.

And an absolute delight it is too.

If only working life always worked out like that …
