Mark Zuckerberg launches his Twitter challenger, Threads – 23 funniest comments
Meta has stepped out of the wings to provide a new alternative to Twitter, which has been imploding at various rates since being bought by Elon Musk.
Named Threads, an Instagram App, the platform allows posts of 500 characters and has the usual image-sharing options as well as linking to users’ Instagram accounts.
Musk wasn’t impressed.
Is there an option where users aren’t attacked or pained?
The new option gained more than 10,000,000 users in seven hours, despite not being licensed in the E.U. yet, while they investigate how secure the new app is.
