The Tourons of Yellowstone show what not to do – 17 times over
Yellowstone National Park is a stunning managed wilderness and wildlife reserve, set across parts of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, attracting more than two million tourists each year.
Despite clear instructions on how to stay as safe as possible in the park, some tourists simply act in a way that puts themselves, other tourists, the park rangers and the animals in danger.
That’s where the touronsofyellowstone account comes in. They collect examples of those times when the tourists forgot or ignored the rules and became tourons.
Here’s their explanation of the name.
‘Tourist + Moron = Touron!! I spend some time in both YNP💛& the Tetons, & it never ceases to AMAZE me how stupid people are!🤪 (What NOT to do!!!)’
No, really – what NOT to do.
