A TikToker got stuck in a work closet and it was quite the emotional rollercoaster

Screenwriter and lawyer Dillon White – @dadchats – knows a good story set-up when he sees one, or when he accidentally creates one.

After a slight door-furniture mishap led to him being trapped in a closet at work, he began recording the proceedings, relatively confident that he’d swiftly be rescued and have a bonus funny post for TikTok.

It didn’t quite go how he expected.

When I first started, I was like ‘This will be super funny and I’ll be in here for like 15 minutes and then when I come out, I’ll post it and it’ll be so funny’.

And now I’m sitting here going like ‘I miss that Dillon. I miss that naive Dillon, because now I’m actually creating my final memoirs.’

If you didn’t get a lump in your throat at that point, we regret to inform you that you may have a stone for a heart.

TikTok users were very amused – once they were sure he was safe.

Dillon isn’t the only person to have been trapped but not actually trapped, which may be some comfort to him.

I had this exact experience being stuck in an elevator. It turns out I could’ve used my hands to open the doors manually. Spent 3 hours there.
