The epic takedown of this evangelist’s alcohol ‘fact’ had people raising glasses everywhere

We have to confess we hadn’t come across Tiff Shuttlesworth before, but by all account he’s an evangelist, preacher, and founder of something called the Lost Lamb Association.

He is also, it would appear, not overly keen on a drink. Which is all well and good, obviously, except the takedown of this ‘fact’ he shared on Twitter might have him reaching for a large one.

It went viral on Reddit because, well, look.

‘Here to report a fatality,’ said CSGB13 who shared it.

That’s some killer ‘context’ right there, alright.

‘There’s also monkeys that will allow fruit to rot and ferment so they can get drunk. Alcohol can occour in nature.’
