Ade Edmondson sent this Kurt Vonnegut quote viral and it’s a life lesson for us all
If you only learn one life lesson today then make it this one, from the fabulous writer Kurt Vonnegut that went viral on Twitter after it was shared by Ade Edmondson.
The celebrated author of Slaughterhouse-Five, who died in 2007, was one of the iconic figures of modern US literature.
And Edmondson shared this line which he said not enough people think about, and it’s surely a lesson for us all.
I don’t think enough people have seen this. It’s Kurt Vonnegut talking to his wife about going out to get an envelope (we’re here on earth to fart around): pic.twitter.com/Xu98wO82Pg

And here it is again, just in case that’s tricky to read in full.
And here are just a few of the many things people said about it.
This is a literal piece of magic. It enchants. Wow. https://t.co/BDfrro6ULX

Ohhh, I love this! 🥰😍 Never underestimate the power of a little chat with people! Today I met a lovely couple who were returning to our village to visit where they first set eyes on each other 56 years ago. Gave them a lift to the house up the hill where their love began 💖🤗

This totally explains the customer base of most high street banks now (& it’s a crying shame their numbers are reducing).
