This fabulous Michael Parkinson exchange with Dame Edna has gone viral for reasons we won’t need to explain right now
Sad news last week that the estimable broadcaster and chat show host Sir Michael Parkinson had died, aged 88.
It prompted lots of people to share their memories of journalist, author and presenter, including this exchange with the great Dame Edna Everage, whose creator Barry Humphries died just back in April.
It went viral after it was posted on Twitter by writer James Hogg, who said: ‘Dame Edna discusses the joys of widowhood with Parky. This’ll make your day.’
