As you’ll already know by now, Donald Trump has made history by becoming the first former president to have his mugshot taken (and you can read all our favourite reactions to this over here).

Here it is, folks,

But it wasn’t just his picture that was taken, it was also his height and his weight which were ‘measured’ for the public record.

And not unlike the scales, those quotations marks are doing a lot of heavy lifting, because the disgraced former president was officially recorded at 6ft 3in tall and weighing (COUGH) 215lbs.

And amid all the responses that this prompted – we’ve rounded up a whole bunch of favourites here – surely no TV news channel covered it better than Rachel Maddow and her colleagues on MSNBC. It’s a minute and a bit very well spent.
