This Italian reckons you should never drink a cappuccino after midday and people weren’t having it

Over on Instagram the ‘Pasta Queen’ went viral with her ‘public service announcement’ that you should never, ever have a cappuccino after midday.

Why? Well, this is why.

And it turned out we’re not the only ones who have been doing it wrong. Here are just a handful of the many, many comments it prompted.

‘I can vouch for this.. I am Italian and know of this “rule” yet it did not phase me…I still ordered my cappuccinos in the afternoon and watched several natives enjoying one as well.

‘I admit, I ordered as many cappuccinos as I could, regardless of the hour in Italy. And yes, I got those exact looks of “mamma mia, non e possibile!” I had to, though, not enough time before 11 to drink as many cappuccios as I can. One time I had a very light diner and said I’ll pass on antipasti and desert and just get a cappuccio. I though they’d kill me. I could see it in their eyes 🤣’
