Rosie Holt’s hilariously delusional ‘interview’ with Naga Munchetty is almost too convincing
If you haven’t seen the interview in which Tory Chairperson Greg Hands told the BBC’s Naga Munchetty that his party will win the next general election, you can and should remedy that here, because Naga’s reaction is everything.
Even funnier than the real interview, however, is Rosie Holt‘s cleverly edited parody, in which she expertly mocks Tory delusion as only she can.
MP says tories didn’t vote in recent by-election because they were too sad pic.twitter.com/el75n8JcRr
— Rosie Holt (@RosieisaHolt) October 23, 2023
“You know, a lot of our voters were deciding to stay at home and stay in bed. I don’t know, perhaps because they were sad. But they weren’t so sad that they were voting Labour.”
Tories may have struggled to find votes of confidence, but Rosie didn’t have the same problem.

Uncomfortably close to a real political interview at the moment… https://t.co/zS9oE6Plun

So, the Tories are pledging not to impose a tax on meat…anymore, and this is expected to sway a mass of British voters towards the Conservative party?? ♂️ ♂️ #ToryDelusion #GeneralElection https://t.co/jl3p2FzYJo

If you class being utterly hissed off at the Tories as being sad then I suppose it's a valid comment https://t.co/z4kPFVfs7B
