Matthew Perry’s death sent this Graham Norton moment viral and it’s a lovely memory of a great man
Awful news at the weekend of the death of Matthew Perry, who has died aged 54.
The actor was of course best known for playing Chandler Bing in Friends and his death prompted an outpouring of affection and tributes from all over the world, with Hollywood stars hailing his ‘comedic genius’.
People have been sharing countless clips from Friends on Twitter, but this isn’t one of those. This is the one where Perry went on the Graham Norton Show alongside guests including Miriam Margolyes. And this happened (shared on Twitter by – who else? – Miriam Margolyes).
RIP Matthew Perry. You will be missed by so many. A great man pic.twitter.com/nwrzqgMGs0

We’re with this person.
I will never forget Matthew Perry’s face when Miriam Margolyes told the story about meeting Laurence Olivier. A truly priceless reaction. R.I.P Matthew pic.twitter.com/NeIoefVkdI

His comic timing was amazing. Even in interviews. The moment he looks at the screen as saying “did you hear what I heard?”. pic.twitter.com/Uhi2ZOTrjr
