Michelle Mone’s embarrassing Pointless answer isn’t the stupidest thing she’s said – but it might be the funniest
Conservative Peer Michelle Mone has been in the public eye for the last couple of years because of her involvement in the procurement of £200 million worth of PPE during the Covid crisis, of which stock worth £122 million was unfit for use.
BREAKING: Government has sued PPE Medpro, the company linked to Conservative peer Michelle Mone, for the full £122m it paid under the contract for gowns awarded via the VIP lane in June 2020.
Company says it will "rigorously" defend the claim.

After repeated denials of a connection with the company, PPE Medpro, she admitted her links to the firm in a self-produced documentary and during an interview with Laura Kuenssberg, in which she also claimed to be an innocent scapegoat.
they say if you put Michelle Mone's tweets close to your ear and listen very carefully you can hear her lawyer crying https://t.co/sozwlJrrmb

Let’s get this straight
Those who made PPE couldn’t get near the government
The BMA sent the govt lists of bona fide companies and was ignored
The people in the VIP lane were Tory cronies like Michelle #Mone
They aren’t ‘scapegoats’. They’re shameless greedy opportunists

Turns out that when Michelle Mone denied any connection to PPE Medpro it was just a "mistake" and she did not benefit from the profits, assuming you ignore the £29m transferred to an offshore trust in her name. https://t.co/jMd5o6iYBw

Between the interview and her frequent social media posts, Baroness Mone has been trending on X – which brought this cringeworthy moment back into the public eye.
You’re all talking about Michelle Mone’s PPE scandal. I’m still obsessed with her incredible performance on Pointless. pic.twitter.com/HkEkE9RmHQ

To preserve your mental health, I cut out the prior 3 minutes of her telling Xander how successful and decent she is.

I’m surprised she’s never been appointed SoS for Northern Ireland. The Tories always send their best and brightest there.

And a Pointless trophy goes to …
Going into that interview with Laura Kuenssberg, Michelle Mone knew it would be a car crash, she just didn’t know if that car crash would be on the right-hand or left-hand side of the road. https://t.co/zP4osnizUN
