Sorry disabled people and those with health issues because the NHS is collapsing, but we need to reduce or take away your welfare payments so we can give £3k to people to get them to voluntarily fly to Rwanda in election week (and loads more before the GE)

God you can smell the desperation in the "we paid one person to go to Rwanda" story. Reeks.

So someone who came to the UK (not by crossing the Channel) claimed asylum here and was refused. He's been given thousands of pounds to fly to Rwanda.
Does anyone think he'll still be in Rwanda a month from now?
And this is somehow a victory for the Tories?

"If I give you £3,000, will you fly to Rwanda, as a cynical pre-local elections stunt, designed to appeal to the racists I'm desperate to win the votes of?" pic.twitter.com/7dH4r2NqOt

In conclusion …
They paid him £3k, paid for the flight, and then will lavishly pay Rwanda to feed and house him for five years.
I’m not sure why voters are supposed to think this is a superior system to just assessing claims properly and fairly. https://t.co/qXaxRuZTtG
