Celebrity election Jon Richardson Rishi Sunak
Jon Richardson in a bubble bath explaining how Rishi Sunak made his millions was magnificently done
This rather fabulous (and infuriating) explainer by the great Jon Richardson on how Rishi Sunak made his millions – so many millions – has just gone wildly viral and it’s a minute and a bit very well spent.
The Sunaks wealth rose to £651m according to the latest Sunday Times Rich List – nice work if you can get it – although the beleaguered PM isn’t overly keen on talking about it (or how he made all that money).
Fortunately the fabulous Richardson was on hand to help.

I love this description of Rishi Sunak as "the opposite of Robin Hood". That about nails it… https://t.co/8XQYYbC6T1

It was posted by the Labour Party’s account on Twitter and called ‘The Big Short: Rishi Sunak.’ (We see what they did there!).

Bravo.
"My dad was a doctor, my mum was a pharmacist…"
"And I was making a killing from questionable stock market bets that lit the fuse for the 2009 financial crash, culminating in bailouts and a decade of Tory austerity!"
Doesn't quite have the same ring to it, does it?

This is an excellent bit of comms by Labour. Jon Richardson, in a bath with a beer, telling you how Sunak made his millions from the downfall of our economy.
Really important message, brilliantly delivered.pic.twitter.com/StckhU0wfa
