Nigel Farage pledged to cancel UK membership of the World Economic Forum, but it isn’t a member – 17 favourite reactions

Another day, another sign that Reform UK might not be the party of details.

Fresh from a difficult 24 hours for the leader, Nigel Farage, in which it emerged that his party had cocked up the vetting process and allowed a bunch of even more unsavoury than usual candidates through, he posted this pledge.

Reform UK will reject the influence of the World Economic Forum and cancel Britain's membership of it.

There was one huge problem with that, as well as some smaller ones, because countries aren’t members of the WEF.
