CNN fact-checked Donald Trump’s rally speech and he’d rattled off more than 30 lies without breaking a sweat
CNN fact-checker, Daniel Dale, had his work cut out for him when he reported on Donald Trump’s rally in Wisconsin, this week.
He took NewsNight’s Abby Phillip through a list of 30 lies he’d detected in Trump’s speech, and even though he rattled them off, it was still a three-minute segment.

Let’s take a look at some of those –
– World peace in 2020
– 107,000 people were at his New Jersey rally
– Joe Biden is behind all Trump’s legal problems, including the civil ones
– Trump has been indicted more than Al Capone
– Syria and Turkey have been fighting over the border for 2000 years
– 17 or 18 million people have entered the U.S. illegally
And the old favourite – the 2020 election was stolen.
It sounds like the only things he said that were true were ‘Hello’ and ‘Goodbye’, and we’d triple check to make sure he’d gone before we’d believe that.
