Donald Trump was making so little sense about ‘washing machines’ that even Fox News cut away

We’ve previously highlighted on these pages the no end of times when Donald Trump appears to making not a huge amount of sense (invariably involving sharks, windmills, electric powered boats – or all three).

But we appear to have reached a new level of nonsense in the once (and future?) president’s ramblings. That level being: ‘Even Fox News cut away’.

It might have been entirely coincidental obviously, we not having a live feed into the Fox News gallery or anything like that. But the timing seemed … apposite. And these people didn’t need any more convincing.
