People have been sharing which call and response they’d use to identify the Brits in a crowd – 23 revealing favourites
In Germany right now, it must be very easy to spot the travelling England fans by their football kits and air of disappointment. Similarly, the Scots brought a few bagpipers and wore tartan hats. All very straightforward.
But how would you identify the British when there isn’t a handy football tournament?
What call and response could you use to identify a British person hiding in a crowd?
For instance, shouting “oggy oggy oggy” would force any true Brit to reply, “oi oi oi!” They just wouldn’t be able to resist it.

Was once on holiday, Portugal, I think, and a local girl walked in, saw her dad and said "Papa" and all the Brits instantly responded "Nicole!" The family were thoroughly baffled.
