The BadMedicalTakes account on Twitter/X (as well as Bluesky and Mastodon) curates a collection of the things most likely to make you facepalm so hard you need to go to A&E.

With people out there believing things like these, it’s a wonder there aren’t more incidences of the Fire Service being called out to rescue anyone from revolving doors, but at least it’s entertaining.

This is a good cross-section of the sorts of things you’ll find there. Try not to despair of humanity.
