The first US presidential debate left a lot to be desired on all fronts. We liked the observation from one commentator that Donald Trump lied most effectively, and Joe Biden told the truth most ineffectually.

We’ve rounded up a whole load of reaction over here and a most eye-opening read it is too.

But surely the very worst part of the debate came after it had finished, when Jill Biden did this, and be warned – there’s a very real danger you’ll cringe yourself into the next millennium.

Jill Biden just gave the most cringe intro for Joe Biden after the debate:
