As you may very well now by now, Alec Baldwin’s involuntary manslaughter trial has come to a dramatic end after a judge dismissed the case against the actor.
New Mexico judge Mary Marlowe Sommer found that the state had improperly withheld evidence related to how live rounds of ammunition ended up on the set of the film where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot.
It was, said the Guardian, a shock ending fit for a Hollywood film, and no moment felt more Hollywood than this, when special prosecutor Kari Morrissey took to the stand for questioning by Baldwin’s defence attorney.
