This spoof Keir Starmer speech was excellent, but the very serious fact check made it so much better

If you haven’t spotted any of the very funny overdubs by Stevo Stonko, you really have been missing out.

They usually involve a classic clip, Scouse accents, a mention of the Asda, and calling people sausages. Like this –

He recently gave the new PM the Stevo Stonko treatment, minus the Scouse accent, and it was an absolute triumph

Here’s the speech Keir Starmer should have made.

“Now that I have been officially appointed your Prime Minister, it’s time to spit some facts.

Erm …Rishi said he shopped in the Asda. This was a lie.

He also said he often drank pint cans of Stella whilst watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Sky Television. This was also a lie.

He leaves No. 10 still owing five quid for the bonus ball down the Nag’s Head.

He was not your Prime Minister, he was an absolute sausage.”

We reckon Stevo absolutely nailed that, and it looks like these people agree.

In fact, the video was so good that the Independent felt the need to issue a fact check.

Minds were blown.
