This stream of French politicians blanking the new far-right MP just gets better and better
You might already have seen the video of the French politician who magnificently blanked the country’s new far-right MP by pretending to play ‘scissors, paper, rock’ rather than shake their hand.
delightful scene in the National Assembly where a left-wing MP elegantly refused to shake the hand of a far-right MP by doing rock-paper-scissors instead https://t.co/Nb2LrICIIz

Well this is cut from similar cloth but lasts even longer and might just be even better.
It’s a stream of deputies in the French parliament walking past the new far-right MP, Francois Piquemal, not stopping to acknowledge let alone shake his hand, and it’s bloody marvellous.
I’d already seen the rock-paper-scissors moment but the longer video is even better imo. sheer disdain among the newly-elected Deputies in France’s Parliament for the far-right

C’est magnifique!
For just a little bit more context …
French deputies voting for the President of the National Assembly. The youngest deputy always staffs the ballot box. As he’s from RN, deputies from the Popular Front refuse to shake his hand as they pass. https://t.co/nKBzjibjW3

And here’s just a bit of the love people had for it.
Oh it’s glorious, especially the last guy.

And the little whoos of satisfaction each time the hand isn’t shaken.

Love to know what the last guys said.
