US kamala harris Russell Brand
Russell Brand got his long words confused trolling Kamala Harris and it’s a supremely satisfying schoolboy error
To the world of Russell Brand now – not for long, honest – where the former presenter of Big Brother’s Big Mouth has been indulging in his passion for long words – so many very long words, sirrah! – when he posted a video trolling Kamala Harris, among other things.
Kamala Harris for President?
Are we all about to be “burdened by what might be”? pic.twitter.com/l9nAKyfoMj

And it was Brand’s insistence on using 100 words when 10 would do, and 10 syllables when one would suffice, that made this schoolboy error so supremely satisfying.
Have you spotted it yet?
not Russell Brand confusing melanin with melatonin in his attempted takedown of Kamala Harris pic.twitter.com/aenDjnyMOu

And that wasn’t all, Monsewer!
also, everyone has an X chromosome. Women just have two.

And here are just a few of the things people were saying about it (and him) today.
1.
Lot of ‘thick person’s idea of a smart person’ here. He means melanin not melatonin men have X chromosones too, and a pyyrhic victory is not ever something you aim for, it’s an unintended effect. Like pivoting from sex pest to political guru, perhaps. pic.twitter.com/SjnTGm7fb8

This a masterclass review of a) a single Tweet b) an entire life.

Ignore what the grifter is saying & consider how he says it
I used to be a sub-editor for younger writers & my biggest feedback was always be more concise & get to the point quicker
This would be a great exercise. His use of fancy words to seem clever is so cringe & transparent pic.twitter.com/wK9xvMoHTe

What a terrible writer

5.
Here is a perfect example of Russell Brand drivel. His bullshitting technique is essentially to use big or obscure words wrongly in bewildering nonsense sentences. He relies on his audience thinking “I don’t understand him he must be smart” instead of the truth: it all nonsense. https://t.co/RU1CxrxfTo

What on earth did I just read? Good grief.

7.
Russell Brand is a stupid person’s idea of what a smart person is.
Nothing that comes out of his grifting mouth is intelligent – it just goes to show that all it takes to impress some Americans is to sound like a Victorian Cockney chimneysweep vomiting up a thesaurus.
