This Mitchell & Webb sketch just went viral and it’s making people’s day so much better
Here’s a very welcome two minute escape from everything else that is going on right, a sketch from That Mitchell & Webb Look (BBC2, 2006 to 2010) that’s just gone viral on Twitter.

It went back into orbit after it was shared by the good people of @TheLadBible and here is just a little bit of the love people had for it.
I put it to you that in the pantheon of heat comedy sketches, this is “up there”. https://t.co/Yc8z3q1KYQ

I remember watching this episode the evening it aired when I was at Uni, 15 or so years ago!
Signposted from a mile off and a lot of the studio audience laughing as soon as Space Centre was mentioned and yet it still relies on the delivery. And David Mitchell played it superbly.

predictable punch line, but the expression, the delivery are just *chef kiss* https://t.co/KFul5uUc1V

Saw this years ago before starting surgical training, but….
Turned out the neurosurgeons are way, way worse than this

To conclude …
There is a unique pleasure to a joke that you can see coming as clear as day but is still delivered so absolutely perfectly. https://t.co/GyGlFkDZH7

And also …
what if i said the death of sketch shows has had a significant detrimental effect on people pursuing drama & theatre studies https://t.co/QR4NLpn8Jq
