I was chatting to a client at work today, she’s in her 70’s and she was telling me about seeing the Rolling Stones in concert in the 60’s for free in Hyde Park and Fleetwood Mac for 25p, she’s also seen Queen, Elton John, Tina Turner and loads more! The younger generation won’t get how awesome it is to see live music without having to sell an organ or remortgage the house!

Making a mix tape for someone. It’s not just the playlist of music, it was the time spent recording it onto a tape, working out how long the tracks on each side would be, decorating the cardboard cover, thinking of a name for the playlist.

Imtheorangeycentre went back to their childhood.

Cartoons being a special occasion, being used to fill in a 5 mins gap the the schedules and not available on a dedicated channel. So much so, brother and I could have just had a massive fight, but we’d still yell across the house/fields “CARTOON!” to summon the other.

While bensoir might have won with this suggestion.

Being able to do something embarrassing or stupid without someone recording it or it being on social media within 10 minutes.
