It's non-existent physics and (once?) philosophy components of my biochemistry BSc for me. Up they pop now and again, and I'm 59.

I’m a retired teacher and still dream that I haven’t set GCSE coursework and the deadline for sending in the marks has passed.

I'm 48 and occasionally have the "exam I didn't study for" dream, the "what the hell is this maths exam all about?" dream and the "naked in front of the whole school" dream. Sorry!

53 and yes still dream that I’ve not revised for my nursing finals. On the other hand my husband says I also sing happy birthday in my sleep so you’ve got that to still look forward to

Im 60 and still have this exact same dream, along with Ofsted inspectors arriving in my unruly classroom and I look down to find myself naked from the waist down. I left teaching years ago too.

Thought it was just me – mine is failing to complete a dissertation for Uni. I’ve never been asked to complete one in my whole life so I’m unsure why my dreams would covet this anxiety

I’m 68. Regularly dream I’m at school and facing an exam but wondering why ‘cos I’m 68!

I’m much older and still do it – particularly about having forgotten to read Middlemarch all 800+ pages the night before the exam!

It never stops.
I still panic about forgetting my ingredients for cooking lessons in middle school.

I’m told that dream stops when you die.
Can’t confirm that though.— Aldo Boot (@bikey99) October 31, 2024
Yikes. Apparently there is a solution though. If you’re plagued by A-Level dreams, try this:

I used to have this often, and it finally ended when I worked through the issue by eventually saying out aloud (in my dream), “I already have my A Levels and degrees, and I don’t need to do this!”…and then walked out of the exam room. I haven’t had the dream since!
