A Question Time audience member said she didn’t believe in asylum, and this other woman’s face spoke for the rest of us
Question Time was a lively one this week, featuring – as it did – both Alastair Campbell and Nigel Farage, who locked horns on the economy, immigration and Brexit, to name just a few things.
Coming out to bat for the Reform UK party line was this belligerent audience member, who had a severe take on the issue of asylum.
NEW: A voter says she doesn't believe in any asylum because the UK "has taken more than our fair share"
Campbell: "Do you feel sorry for people fleeing wars?"
Voter: "I think there is far too much made of this that they're fleeing wars"
Campbell: "Oh, okay" #bbcqt pic.twitter.com/QUBHWUEMBN

Fiona Bruce: And as far as asylum goes?
Audience member: I don’t believe in any asylum.
What a lot of people noticed was the expression on the face of the audience member unfortunate enough to be in the next seat.
Audience member: "I don't think there should be any asylum… People are making far too much of war."
