Kieran Culkin is currently wowing audiences in Jesse Eisenberg’s “A Real Pain”, in which he plays Eisenberg’s cousin, as the two make a Holocaust memorial pilgrimage to Poland.

He’s tipped as a potential Oscar winner after picking up a Golden Globe for the role, and has been doing the media dance to promote it. One interview was with the Guardian’s Charlotte Edwardes, who reported that ‘as an out-of-control teen, he once spiked a prop spliff with actual marijuana in an off-Broadway play. The entire cast, including Mark Ruffalo and an older actor who had never smoked before, were blitzed.’

It was a snippet that caught the attention of other pubications, including Variety.
