Fox News said Donald Trump wasn’t the first US president to want Greenland and it’s already hot contender for the year’s funniest schoolboy error
As you might already have seen elsewhere, Donald Trump hasn’t ruled out using force to fulfil his ambition of making Greenland part of the good ol’ US of A. For economic security, obviously.
Here is the President Elect asked about his willingness to use ‘military or economic coercion’ to get Greenland and indeed the Panama Canal.
Jesus Christ. Donald Trump says he can’t assure the world he won’t use military force to take over Greenland or the Panama Canal.
Greenland is a territory owned by Denmark.
This is one of the dumbest and most dangerous things Trump has ever said.

And while it prompted the rest of the world to scream, for about the millionth time, WTF is Trump going on about, Fox News was keen to reassure its viewers that it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Indeed, said Fox, Trump wasn’t even the first US president to watch to annex, sorry, buy Greenland.
