Trump voters shared what it would take to make them stop supporting him – 23 eye-opening insights into the Maga mind

‘My husband finally flipped today – thank god. His line was the betrayal. These countries don’t keep nukes because of promises we made to protect them. And we have betrayed them. That was his line, apparently.’

‘Lifelong Republican voter. I will preface by saying I have never been specifically a Trump fan to begin with, but for me a key line that has been crossed is destroying our relationship with our allies. The other significant line is actually entertaining the idea that the executive branch does not have to follow orders from the courts. The people voted for a President, not a king.
‘I’m of the mind that the Republican party needs to immediately intensely pressure Trump to reverse course on the absurd path he’s going down and if they can not succeed with that in any meaningful way very soon then it is their duty to impeach and remove him. I will certainly never vote republican again in my lifetime if that doesn’t happen and I would consider the entire party treasonous.’

‘Honestly his foreign policy. His comments about Canada, Greenland, Gaza, and now Ukraine have made it so that I truthfully cannot support him anymore. I wasn’t thrilled to vote for him but I didn’t like the direction Biden was taking the country in. This direction is 10x worse.’

‘I’m not a supporter by any means, but someone I know and follow on social media voted for him as a sort of ‘protest vote’ in regards to Palestine. (You don’t need to tell me this was idiotic, I know.) He regrets his vote now, after the AI Gaza video came out and that was the hard red line for him. He still maintains that Harris supports Palestinian genocide, but concedes that she would not have been as much of an asshole about it.’

‘I voted for Trump. I liked Trump 1.0. Trump 2.0 has become a narcissistic dictator. For me as a federal employee, was how bad he is talking about us, it’s quite upsetting. I enjoy helping the American public. And the final straw for me was the way he behaved with Zelensky. Both him and Vance. That was saddening, that is not how you speak to people.’

‘I voted for him. I’d stop supporting the current president if I thought that the long term future of my country would be in a worse place than the alternative presidential choice. I don’t regret my vote at this time.
‘My biggest concern is the federal deficit. I’m not super confident that this administration will in fact leave us in a better place but I’m hopeful. If it’s business as usual and our debt payments top $1T with no end in sight then the Trump experiment will have failed for me.’

‘My honest turning point as a first time voter would be if we got involved in a foreign conflict or if the prices of goods and services do not go down by the midterm elections. I would then probably vote for Democrats in the midterms.’

‘My red line was Agenda 47. I wasn’t much of a Trump supporter, but that woke me up. I have a transgender kid. I’m not supporting a man who, through deprivation of medical care, wants my kid dead. I’m fiscally conservative. I think reforms need to take place, but I’m unwilling to trade our Constitution for it.’

‘The Elon Musk crap had me really wondering but with what Trump did to Zelenskyy has me done with him.’

‘Not me but I know for my brother (who does actually hate him mostly but likes some of his policies I guess?) but he said if Trump tries to extend his term or run a third time he will draw the line at that. I sense him coming around before that he kind of already has actually.’

‘I voted for Trump twice, not this last time. You cannot be the party of law and order and support a felon over a former Attorney General and DA.’

‘I asked my dad. He couldn’t give an answer. I offered Auschwitz and he was like ‘Oh c’mon’. But still didn’t say that would be a line. There is no line.’
