Turns out Trump’s ‘I know nothing’ stock response extends to the four US soldiers reported dead in Lithuania – 17 properly shocked responses
It’s become standard practice now for Donald Trump to react to a breaking scandal by saying he basically knows nothing about it.
Sometimes it will presumably be true, other times you might suspect he’s just saying it so he doesn’t have to answer the question. Either way, it’s not a good look.
Here he is responding to the ‘Signal Gate’ scandal a day or two back.

We mention it again because Trump’s just been asked about the four US soldiers missing in Lithuania amid reports that they have tragically died.
And the president’s entirely predictable and by now familiar response had people reeling because, well, watch.
