Boris Johnson warned ‘freeloading’ Brits not to take advantage of Donald Trump and the world’s irony supplies hit critical lows

We try not to think about Boris Johnson since his ignominious exit from Downing Street, since when he appears to have earned unimaginable riches from speaking events around the world, written his memoirs and – oh! – penning a column for the Daily Mail.

And it’s the last of these which occupies us now as Johnson used his Mail scribblings to warn ‘freeloading’ Brits (and indeed the whole of Europe) that they couldn’t take advantage of Donald Trump’s America forever.
