With Le Pen having been the frontrunner in many polls, certain parties have described the move as political, including Mme. Le Pen, herself.

Right-wing disingenuous pearl-clutching aside, there wasn’t much sympathy for the convicted thief.

Turns out Le Pen is not mightier than the fraud.

So… Marine Le Pen was found guilty, and France barred her from running for president. Donald Trump was found guilty, and America elected him.

With Marine Le Pen being imprisoned for embezzlement, it almost makes you think the far right are all just crooked self-serving grifters who can’t be trusted. I'm just glad we don’t have anyone like that in this country…

The far-right has been given these lines to be pushed. "She (Marine Le Pen) was the favourite to win.".. "Is this democracy?"
They want you to ignore the fact that she committed a crime.

Marine Le Pen’s first conviction rules out future presidential candidacies.
Donald Trump’s various convictions, 881,776 Covid deaths, armed insurrection & theft of classified documents made him president.
That’s why we can’t have nice things.
