‘What are examples of ‘being picked last in gym class’ as an adult?’ – 23 mortifying grown up humiliations

Unless you were one of those uber-popular kids, you’ll have experienced the stomach churning worry of whether you’ll be chosen last for a team in PE.

And, while we’d like to believe we’ve left all that behind us as grown ups, that feeling of ‘nobody like me’ anxiety still pops up with alarming regularity. Over on the AskReddit page, user Infamous-Echo-3949 asked:

‘What are examples of ‘being picked last in gym class’ as an adult?’

And plenty of apparently rational adults chipped in with the times they still felt like a friendless little dweeb.
