Darren Grimes bemoaned Greggs having to ‘protects its sandwiches from mass theft’ and was schooled into next year
Former GB News presenter Darren Grimes popped into Greggs for a sausage roll (or similar) when he was struck by a completely empty sandwich cabinet.
Not only that, there was a notice on it telling people to ask at the counter if they wanted one. A sandwich, not the entire cabinet.
And how appalled was he? This appealed.
And it was a leap that Bob Beamon (one for younger readers there) would have been proud of. And one entirely in the wrong direction, according to this little lot.
Narrator: “The fridge wasn’t working, but Crafty saw another way to farm engagement to fund his unemployment.”

This was what the sandwich cabinet looked like at my local Greggs. It was however just to do with the fridge being broken as they were back the next day. Is that not the case here?

Or perhaps the chiller isn’t functioning and to comply with food safety regulations they’ve had to put the sarnies in the main backup chiller. Happens in my shop occasionally.

Funny how you don't mention which Greggs this was, or whether or not the chiller was working, why is that little man?
