Witness the first doughnut in space
A Swedish science group has sent the first doughnut into space, reports Mashable.
According to Cnet, on April 8th, the doughnut left the comfort of its box in a location in Norway and ventured 32km up into the edge of space. It got there by hitching a ride on a weather balloon, sent there by a hobbyist group called Stratolys.
The trip reportedly lasted around 84 minutes, and don’t worry about the doughnut – it was recovered by a search-and-rescue group from its landing site in a lake.
